In wall formwork applications, tie-rods connect two opposing panels withstanding the concrete pressure. However in some cases, it is impossible to use tie-rods, for example:
• At dams
• When casting against insulating layers
• When there is no space for the opposing panel to be placed
• When walls are too thick
• At stop-ends of thick walls
• At stop-ends of thick slabs
In such applications pressure is transferred by means of single sided system components to the stop anchors which withstand these forces.
